The College is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced teacher of Mathematics.

This is a permanent full-time position commencing term 3, Monday 15 July 2024.

The classes currently included are:

  • Units 3-4 Specialist Mathematics
  • Year 12 International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IB DP) Higher Level Mathematics
  • Year 8 Mathematics

For term 3 this is not a full allocation so other duties will be distributed. From term 4, a full allocation will be given and will be a variety of maths classes timetabled.

The 2025 classes, which will include senior mathematics classes, is decided later in term 3 2024.

Full time teaching staff are expected to undertake a mentor role which attracts an allowance. For 2024 this will be in year 10 and in 2025 Year 11.

An employee Working with Children Check (WWCC) or Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration is required to be undertaken by any persons working in the field of education who may come into contact with children without direct supervision. The WWCC is valid for a five (5) year period and the VIT for one year.
  3. The successful applicant will be required to produce original copies (from which a photocopy will be made) of transcripts of qualifications claimed.
