Under the leadership of the Head of the Junior School, McMillan House is a dynamic learning environment where a warm sense of community embraces staff, students and parents in state-of-the-art facilities.

The IB PYP Coordinator is responsible for the inspirational leadership and oversight of curriculum, assessment and reporting in all key learning areas from ELC to year 4.

Reporting to the Head of Junior School, this role will work with the Deputy Head of Junior School, Head of ELC, Academic Directorate and teachers to ensure the implementation of an innovative, creative and engaging curriculum focused on improving outcomes for all students from ELC to Year 4.

The person in this role is a permanent full-time teacher but as with all positions of responsibility the IB PYP Coordinator is tenured for three years.

The position has a small teaching component within Learning Enhancement and/or High Potential Learning.

The role commences as soon as practical, by the start of term 3, Monday 15 July 2024.

The successful applicant must have VIT, Victorian Institute of Teaching, registration.
